What type of CBD is best for me ?

As CBD popularity has grown so have the range of products. Indeed, CBD products seem so numerous it may appear confusing where to start, or which products are best suited to provide the benefit you’re looking for.

The first thing to consider is obviously your personal needs, and potentially how you prefer to take your CBD. Balms and Creams or Massage Oils are specifically designed to apply heat or cooling effects to sore or tired muscle, whilst Tinctures and Soft Drinks offer an oral method of CBD consumption.

CBD Gummies and Sweets

One of our favourite methods of taking CBD products, Gummies and Sweets are simply chewable sweets containing cannabidiol (CBD) as the main ingredient. Often available in a range of bright, rainbow colours with different flavours and CBD concentrations.

From small, pocket sized pouches to larger, sharing size jars check our range of CBD Gummies and Sweets here, or go to our Buy 1 Get 1 Free section for even better value.

CBD Capsules

CBD Capsules are exactly what they say, simply capsules filled with CBD. As such they are a variation of the perhaps better known health related capsules such as Omega 3 or Multivitamin. CBD capsules are most commonly softgels to be swallowed whole, although similar products are available as chewable tablets. Whilst CBD is the main ingredient some of these capsules may contain other extracts and nutrients so it’s important to read the full descriptions.

Capsules and tablets are popular due to the ease in which they can be swallowed, and they clearly identify how much CBD each capsule contains so you know exactly how much you are taking.

CBD Balms and Creams

As previously mentioned there are plenty of options for CBD Balms and Creams for topical purposes, or for massaging directly onto the skin to reduce muscle tiredness and stiffness. We have tried to differentiate these into those that provide Heat and those Providing Cooling relief, as well as Massaging Oils which we feel are different again.

In addition, there are a number of Body and Face creams designed to nourish and moisturise specific body areas. With Bath Bombs, Hands and Feet and Soaps there is plenty of choice for targeting specific body areas for CBD care !

These topicals work by interacting with your Endocannabinoid system (ECS) through the receptors throughout your body including on your skin. Whilst it may be slightly more difficult calculating exact CBD dosage with Balms and Creams the fact they can be applied directly ensures they can begin working immediately. Many also contain other ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Lavender, Arnica or Camphor for additional benefits.

CBD Oils

Oils are another extremely popular way to take CBD, with both Broad Spectrum (no THC, so no ‘high) and Full Spectrum (different cannabinoid compounds, providing an ‘entourage effect’)  offering slightly different benefits. Oils are again clearly marked so dosage is easy, and is usually taken as drops under the tongue (Tinctures) or rubbed directly into skin – look out for our CBD Beard Oils too, and don’t mix them up !

What type of CBD is best for me ?

As mentioned above this depends on what area you want CBD to help you with; tired and aching muscles naturally lend themselves to Balms and Creams to Heat, Cool or Massage. If you’re looking to reduce stress and relax perhaps a soothing Tea, Soft Drink or Tincture is most suitable, whilst Gummies and Sweets are a pocket sized, fun way to enjoy the benefits of CBD particularly if you’re regularly on the move.

Also consider how you like to take treatments generally – are you ok swallowing tablets and capsules, or would a drink or sweet version be easier for you? Remember too our CBD Sprays, with dosage clearly marked and in a range of flavours for maximum convenience.
